Fourth of July Soaps-Cute Guest Room Recipe!

Guest Room Soaps- 4th of July Theme!

We’re getting ready for the 4th of July, thinking about what dips to make, who to have over, how to celebrate, and how best to spend time with friends and family. Growing up, my grandma would always have super cute, themed soaps in her guest bathrooms every holiday. It made us feel so special!  So I got inspired to show you guys the easiest way to make festive, Fourth of July soaps.

Make your guests feel special this year!

What You’ll Need

Make Your Soaps!

  1. Cut the block of melt and pour into smaller chunks or squares. Place in the heat safe bowl and melt. You can use a microwave until there are no lumps or you could melt it over a pot of boiling water.
  2. Stir with the spatula and when it is slightly cooler add 2 tbsps (about 0.25 oz.) of fragrance oil to your melted soap and stir.

3. Pour mixture into your mold and allow to set. (Optional: Right after you pour, spray the surface of the wet soaps with rubbing alcohol to get rid of bubbles)

4. Remove the soaps from the mold after letting them set for at least 4 hours.

Ta-Dah!

It’s that easy. Set your festive little Fourth of July soaps out on the counter in a cute little soap tray for your guests! Use them yourself for a little bit of personal enjoyment of the holiday!

Either way, have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
