Easy, Two-Ingredient Face Toner
As the weather heats back up with the start of spring we will all start to notice our faces getting a bit oily. Witch hazel toners are a great way to combat this and we have a great, easy recipe for you to use: a little, DIY, Witch Hazel Toner with ingredients you can trust!
Only two ingredients, both from Nature’s Oil, make this a simple, easy replacement for a store-bought toner.
What You’ll Need
- Lavender Essential Oil
- We have organic, too!
- Witch Hazel
- Our product sold on a sister site.
- Spray bottle or empty bottle
Method
- Pour 1/4 cup of witch hazel into a measuring cup.
- Add about 20 drops of lavender essential oil.
- Stir.
- Pour carefully into spray bottle or an empty skin care bottle that has been cleaned thoroughly.
- To use: spray twice onto face or add pea-sized amount to hand and spread onto face. Make sure toner is spread evenly on face.

This toner can last up to 6 months.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Before using, make sure that your skin type needs a toner. If you already have dry skin, for example, it might not be a good idea to add in a toner. For oily to very oily skin it would be a great addition to your skin care regimen.
If you don’t like the scent of lavender, you can always switch it out for one of our other organic essential oils such as peppermint, eucalyptus, orange, or tea tree.
One of our personal favorites is orange because it gives it a refreshing, wake-you-up, citrus scent. It’s perfect for if you use it in the morning!
